Melbourne Polytechnics’ new Advanced Manufacturing Centre of Excellence (AMCOE) brings together the very best of manufacturing technology with world-class training to support the Advanced Manufacturing industry.

Through AMCOE, you will have the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of traditional manufacturing processes together with the latest technologies. You will enter the workforce with a holistic knowledge of manufacturing processes and be indispensable partners to future employers.

AMCOE is fully integrated into Melbourne Polytechnic’s Engineering Trades qualifications.

Training at the AMCOE facility will give apprentices and students a technological advantage required to work in today’s fast-paced advanced manufacturing in roles such as:

You will study and develop a range of essential skills such as manufacturing, modification, installation, and repair of mechanical equipment, combined with additional units in computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Routing machines and 3D printing technology.
