This course can take applications through Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) or direct to Melbourne Polytechnic.

Apply Through VTAC

You must apply via VTAC if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are currently studying Year 12 (or equivalent)
  • You are applying to more than one institution for a course/s listed on VTAC
  • You have already lodged a VTAC application for 2023.

To apply via VTAC, visit vtac.edu.au.

Apply Direct to Melbourne Polytechnic

You can apply direct to Melbourne Polytechnic if any of the following apply to you:

  • You are NOT currently studying Year 12 (or equivalent) in Australia
  • You intend to submit an application ONLY to Melbourne Polytechnic
  • Are a current Melbourne Polytechnic student

After you complete that form we will send you an email with a link to an application form webpage. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam and junk folders.

You will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy assessment.

We’ll ask you to attend an interview to ensure that this is the right course for you.

Once you are ready to enrol, you will be invited to attend an enrolment appointment over the phone or on campus.

LOCAL REQUIREMENTS

Prospective students can:

  • apply through VTAC or directly to Melbourne Polytechnic.
With industry experience/relevant qualifications you may be eligible for the Year 2, Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media

INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


Academic: Australian Year 12 equivalency
English:Academic IELTS 6.0 overall, Pearson PTE Academic 50 overall, or Melbourne Polytechnic recognised equivalency.
Applicants will be required to attend an interview. Skype interviews available.
